2. AR2 check.
(cont'd)
a) Continuing with multimeter, set to 10 VDC range and measure
voltage between ground and pin 14 of AR2.
Voltage should be approx 5 VDC.
If voltage is not obtained, go to check 5 below.
If voltage obtained, replace AR2.
3. AR2 check continued.
a) Continuing with multimeter as set, measure voltage between
ground and pin 3 of AR 1.
Voltage should be approx 8.8 VDC.
b) Set scope for vertical sensitivity of 0.5 V per CM. Measure
waveform between ground and pin 3 of AR1. Waveform should
be square wave 2 CM high.
c) If voltage of check 3 and waveform of 3b obtained, replace AR2.
If voltage and waveform not obtained, go to check 4 below.
4. AR1 check.
a) Continuing with multimeter, set to 100 VDC range. Measure
voltage between ground and pin 2 of AR6.
Voltage should be approx 15 VDC.
If voltage is obtained, replace AR1.
If voltage not obtained, go to check 5 below.
5. AR6 and AR5 check.
a) Continuing with multimeter as set, measure voltage between
ground and junction of R21 and C11.
Voltage should be approx 25 VDC.
If voltage is obtained replace:
AR5 if you came here from check 2 above.
AR6 if you came here from check 4 above.
If voltage not obtained, go to check 6 below.
6. +40 V check.
a) Continuing with multimeter as set, measure voltage between
ground and pin 16.
Voltage should be between 40 and 44 VDC.
